Membership terms, cancellation and refunds

What membership includes
Membership gives the member named on the payment full access, for the period paid for, to articles marked as members' articles on geopoliticaleconomist.com, including a monthly brief published for members only. Free content stays free. Institutional membership covers the number of readers agreed in writing.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the membership page in Indian rupees or US dollars, and include any taxes that apply. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We do not see or store card, UPI or bank details.
Delivery
Membership is a digital service. Access starts as soon as the payment is confirmed, on the device used to pay, and on any other device once the member signs in with the same email address. Nothing is shipped.
Renewal and cancellation
A monthly membership renews automatically each month until it is cancelled. To cancel, write to [email protected] from the email address used to join; renewal stops from the next billing date and access continues until the end of the period already paid for. A one-year membership is a single payment and does not renew.
Refunds
If you are not satisfied, email [email protected] within 7 days of your first membership payment and we will refund it in full. After that, payments already made for the current period are not refunded, but cancellation stops future renewals. A payment taken in error, or charged twice, is always refunded. Include your payment reference so we can find the transaction. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay, normally within 5 to 7 working days.
Contributions
A one-time contribution supports the publication's work. It does not buy membership or any other service, and it is refunded only if it was made in error and you tell us within 7 days.
Use of members' content
Members may read, print and quote members' articles with attribution. Sharing the full text or the sign-in link with people who are not members is not allowed.
Changes
We may change prices or these terms; changes apply from the next renewal, and we tell monthly members by email before a price change takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
